#92237 - Look at the tools for Motorola HC08 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Look at CodeWarrior for example, which an excellent toolset. Then there is Cosmic, Imagecraft etc. Now PIC has quite good tools and some third party providers.
As much as multisource is chip life. Will the chip be around for a long time? Else why risk developing a tool? There is a plus side to single source chip. Usually the chipmaker also provides the toolset, so tight integration is expected. Which is quite true about both CodeWarrior and MPLAB. |
