But I still thnk there's plenty to be gained from moving certain functions from software to "hardware" (ie, programmable logic) - rather than just adding a second processor to run the software faster. We don't know Erik's presise application nor requirements, but I guess that things like multiplexing & scrolling could be prime targets for "hardware" implementation...? |
