#97150 - ITT Tech. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Salaam Payam,
If you want a short term (1 or 2 year course), ITT Tech is a quality organization. They are not a 4 year university and they don't pretend to be. But some years ago, when I was a physicist at the SSC Lab, I worked with a couple of technicians who graduated from ITT Tech and was plenty impressed. You won't get the prestige of a normal 4 year university, but you will learn about electronics and can complete a B.Sc. in 3 years, or an A.Sc. in 18 to 24 months. You may want to consider having the prestige associated with a full fledged university's name on your degree. If so, you should still consider 4 year universities. One of my undergraduate degrees is an A.Sc., a two year degree, in electronics technology. Many 4-year universities offer 2 year degrees. The only thing I would add is that you may find immigration to the U.S., from Iran, difficult right now. That doesn't mean it's impossible, but you should go into it with open eyes. Good Luck. |
