Any particular reason why? When I was younger I had completed 3 out of 4 years for my degree but I had already been hired for what I considered a great job. So I just didn't continue at the university. A year later I decided, "I've already put 3 years in and I only have one little year left, why not?" So for one year I worked full-time and carried a full-time class load. I finished the year and got my degree.

While I can't say that I've found my degree has helped me get any jobs thusfar, I don't regret going back for one more year to finish what I started. In your position, I'd certainly recommend finishing your degree since you're so far along anyway. Then, if you want, try to get to the U.S. and go to one of those technical schools.

At the very least I'd suggest continuing at the university while you try to get authorization to study in the U.S. No reason to sit around and do nothing while you wait.

In any case, best of luck to you! TI is in Dallas so I would concur that a Dallas campus is not a bad choice at all.
