#102888 - it works for me Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Jon,
I just tried it and it works for me... How did you upload the BASIC program into the mcu - using a "send file" function in the terminal, or typing it in manually? Jan Waclawek [EDIT] Bah, I tried more, and when I set the current time it really fails... What a bug! :-) The problem is in the .AND. as it tries to get the lowest bit of time*2 to flash with the LED in a second rythm (halfsecond ON and halfsecond OFF). Basic52 manual said:
These operators [.AND., .OR. and .XOR.] perform a BIT-WISE logical function on valid INTEGERS. That means both arguments for these operators must be between 0 and 65535 (0FFFFH) inclusive. If they are not, MCS BASIC-52 will generate a BAD ARGUMENT ERROR. All non-integer values are truncated, NOT rounded. I remember that I wrote this one late in the night and most probably somewhere after midnight... It should work OK until around 9am (it fails after 32768 seconds since midnight). Please try the following as a patch: 1004 IF T*2-INT(T*2)>0.5 THEN GOTO 1006 1005 PORT3=PORT3.AND.0FEH : GOTO 1007 1006 PORT3=PORT3.OR.01H Jan Waclawek |
