It took about 2 1/2 hours assembly time for me. I'm short the '126 (backordered at digikey) and since my programmer doesn't support the AT89S8253 I'm kinda stuck with using a different chip for now. No problems on the assembly. I would however suggest to put the resistors on first. Craig, you might want to optionally put the dual row headers on the parts list as those sips suck in two's. Even with shorting jumpers on the top side they didn't come out quite straight. A person could used the LCD sockets to hold the pins straight, providing you haven't already soldered them to the board :) A power switch would be a nice addition as well as some mounting holes to hold it to a nice base. There doesn't seem to be any specific place to put the rubber feet near the corners. Other than that I'm looking forward to playing with it this evening.
