#110405 - This is getting real tiresome you keep r Responding to: ???'s previous message |
"1)Show me a PC or a RS485/RS232 industrial sensor or an automobile, or a cellphone or a serial VFD that can communicate with mode 0. "
and I'd say, though I've never tried this, "hook up the audio codec input What does an audio codec have to do with a PC etc?????? I'd say that, with a little effort, with 1 microsecond samples, you can do many of those things and stay within tolerance, since you're just sampling at 1 MHz on a 12 MHz 12-clocker. Yes, you could be off by a microsecond here and there, but that's not what Mode-0 is intended This is getting real tiresome you keep replying to standard serial issues babbeling about mode 0. WHAT THE #&!! does mode 0 have to do with communicating with a cellphone? NO ONE have argued in this, by now real tiresome discussion that when using mode 0 11.0592 is the xtal to use. EVERY TIME someone bring up the reason for 11.0592 (standard serial comms), you reply "why use 11.0592, it is not needed for mode 0. The fact that 11.0592 has no advantage in mode 0 does not by any means diminish its enormous usefulness for serial comms. I asked you two questions about apples and got two answers about oranges.
