Do you seriously believe that async NRZ with its two or more wasted bits per byte is the ONLY way to communicate?
In virtually every post I have said "communicate with standard devices", and I have NEVER said "only" Also, in the very last post that you repond to with the above quote I said "if you communicate use a precise baudrate, if you interface use the clock that fit the best So, if you "communicate with yourself" i.e. interface, it is not the only way, but AGAIN ONCE MORE, if you communicate with standard equipment it is!!!
