#125138 - No, not that chat! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
As this is not an 8051 question, it shouldn't be in this 8051-specific forum.
The 'General Chat' forum is for such off-topic discussions: http://www.8052.com/forumchat Quite possibly the thread will get moved there anyhow... Sandeep Gupta said:
As seen the data sheet of ARM Which particular ARM-based microcontroller are you looking at? Like the 8051, there are very many different microcontrollers from many manufacturers based on the ARM Architecture http://www.keil.com/dd/chips/all/arm.htm Try the parametric search at Keil: http://www.keil.com/dd/search_parm.asp If you looked at modern 8051-derivative datasheets, you'd probably find that most of them were also 3V (or less!) That's just the way it is these days. Most (all) of these chips can be designed-in to 5V systems, and there's been plenty of previous discussion of that here: do the 'Search' Manufacturers support sites should also have plenty of info. Lot of People suggest us to upgrade with ARM but changing the whole is not possible presently. So why did you ask about a new processor? |
