#125290 - can't deny it ...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
However, it's still not easy to justify a 3V3 part so long as 5V0 parts are available. Until I find a cheap 1V8 version of the IRLD120, I won't be able to drive a relay capable of doing any serious work without lots of bother. Generally speaking, I use an MCU instead of an FPGA. Once an FPGA becomes involved, then the MCU goes inside. Unfortunately, that means external memory in many cases, and that means lots of additional pins. However, it also means additional buffering/level translation and that increases system cost and impacts statistical reliability.
