We are using Philips 89C51X2BN ... crystal 11.0592

from the datasheet for 89C51X2BN:
Oscillator frequency min 0 max 33 MHz

you say you need performance, are you even thinking????

why not use 22.1184 MHZ
or even 'live on the edge' and use 33.1776 MHZ
or - the best - use 33 MHZ and T2 for the UART
