#125439 - Sandeep Gupta must be a manager Responding to: ???'s previous message |
No engineer would approach this issue as the O/P has done.
No justification for anything. Just a bunch of assumptions. Why even consider an expensive (per seat) tool like the KEIL compiler, for example, before thorough evaluation of the no-cost/low-cost tools available? Further, why jump right into the assumption that a larger MCU is needed before making a thorough assessment of requirements? Additionally, most of the IC's mentioned are available in 3V3 versions. I know there are op-amp's that will work in that realm, and, further, there are higher-voltage supplies availbale if you use the MAX3232 which is the 3V3 version of the Max232, provided you stick with CMOS. As for the OS, there's been a free LINUX version available with each ARM I've used. That has ample tools available. It's never trivial changing from one MCU to another. Modifying the architecture will require some real analysis before any design can be undertaken. Deciding on a new MCU now looks to me like putting the cart before the horse. RE |
