#141909 - It seems you\'re right! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I had another look at the datasheet, and an app-note, and find it says BUSY is,
"A very simple means for transmitting the data down a single wire pair from a remote location would be to AND BUSY with clock and subtract 10,001 counts." This function is not available in the similar Intersil dual-slope-integrating ADC's with which I'm familiar, and I apologize for my rash comment. I completely overlooked this detail in my earlier read of the datasheet. Further, I freely admit that my attitude was influenced by the fact he'd simply asked for someone else to do his work for him. The O/P's query didn't indicate how he intended to derive information from these signals. He probably can preload the counter with -10001 and increment it during BUSY using CLOCK as an interrupt, if that satisfies his requirement. It's a pretty slow and costly way of obtaining this data, but if he has, say, a DMM that uses this IC, as I do, though I've never done this, he can easily attach to those signals and route them to his MCU. This does, indeed, save a number connections. RE |
