#142279 - One's view depends on how you at it! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The weighing systems have to be 0.1% accurate. But the
resolution of 7135 is +/- 20,000 counts. People make that 40,000 counts. Other system components are responsible to make 0.1% accuracy - precision- possible and be certified as such. So biting of of 1-2 clock counts in 20,000 may not matter. Also if biting is consistent then can be adjusted in code. There are so many persons making these systems and some of them might have noticed this. High end systems do use chopper stabilised OPAMPs and now everybody is switching to +/- 60,000 counts ADC from Microchip which is at same cost as 7135. Hope that this is practical way of view. I am not contesting any claim about biting. psd |
