Did you read 8051 Timer functioning? The counter works
on edges of rising (or falling) clock. Therefore the duty cycle
of clock doesnt matter. Maximum impact will be of one clock
cycle of BUSY signal while rising or falling which can be adjusted in code if found. BUSY signal acts like a GATE and being steady for atleast 10001 cycles I dont see where clock
biting can affect.
