whatever you do, for consistent results, please make sure that the voltage on the supervisor and RAM and mcu and whatever else involved, is the same all the time. It maybe sounds trivial, but in some battery-backuped schemes this is NOT the case.

Eager to hear the results, too. Please post a (block) schematics, as soon as you come to an at least temporarily definitive version, so that meantime we can chew on the details... :-)
