#158788 - Fixed speed Responding to: ???'s previous message |
How come speed matter?
Because when the slave is too slow, it will not be able to pick up received data. And it will not be able to send back data. So, the slave will fail to receive acknowledge from master. And it will fail to send acknowledge to master. In the end, the master must run at a speed where the slave always is fast enough. And the master must be configured to use that speed without knowing anything about what the slave is doing. The end result - you must have a slow speed and a slave that (when slave select is detected) focuses 100% on the SPI communication. Or you must have the master run at a _very_ slow speed so that the slave is fast enough even when doing other things. |
