No, the length of the data does not matter in any other way than where to buffer received data.
But for the SPI protocol, it isn't the packet size but only the bit rate that affects how hard the slave has to keep up. And the bit rate depends on your packet length times number of packets / second. And you have still not answered that question: Exactly how much data (size times count) do you need to be able to send per second. |
