a) Buy some USB-RS232 devices
b) Buy a card with multiple RS232 (In the last days i know about some ISA card with 8 serial ports, i assume that exist the same for the PCI bus)
c) As Prahlad says make your own device but with a hardware UART. Phillips has some I²C devices with 8 chanels and fifo memory. I think that 8 soft uarts are more a dream than an usefull system.
