#83195 - Make the bet!
Responding to: ???'s previous message
The money comes handy before Christmas... :-)

So let's see what I have here - a ethernet-project development board web51.hw.cz (not my web, I bought it there), populated with a T89C51RD2, BASIC already burned (ethernet unused here, stressing the "board laying around"); a wall-plug adapter (if needed at all), a serial cable, some general purpose enclosure (not nice but will do), a couple of leds, relays, diodes, protoboard, terminals, screws, wire, solder, tools , etc. = the usual drawer stuff.
Straight from the start you are one horselength ahead, no need to locate the relays an stuff . But while you are waiting your PC-Win-IDE-whatever boots, I am already connected with my Palm and writing... I see no reason to debug a program like that, I bet it will go first run on. Wiring, mounting at the customer is same for both, but oops - customer wants modifications. Palm and cable out of pocket, 3 more mods done and running while you still unpacking and booting your laptop :-)

Still sure with your bet?
:-)
(Sure I am exagerrating, won't you?)
