What board and processor runs interpreted BASIC? I am curious or is it a BASIC kernel that is downloaded to the 8051? I would like to know because I used to run a system that used interpreted BASIC, but ran into the problems with ESD caused glitches messing up my program (because it was battery backed RAM).
