#83315 - BASIC for ADuC
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Jacob,

Had a look at the ADuC83x/84x datasheets and I think, BASIC can be modified also to these chips with moderate effort, assuming you will have only 24k Flash for the BASIC programs (the upper 6k cannot be IAP programmed, as far as I understand) and I would also cut 64 bytes from the XRAM as a buffer for programming (leaving 2048-512(for BASIC internals)-64=1472 bytes RAM for data).

However, I have to get the chip first. I try to order one at a local distributor. Then I will have to find some time to do the mods... Promising nothing :-( .

Seeing the specs for the ADuC83x, if you use it as a bare mcu (not using the integrated analog stuff), wouldn't you be satisfied with the RD2 for the time being?

Jan

PS. What exactly is BCS-51 you mention?
