Erik, try following Kai's method. Kai presents a good body of evidence when there is a dispute, you present your own biased pseudo fact.
What evidence do you need that 6V noise margin is better than ~2?, that is hardly "pseudo" fact. Both Russell and Jason mention specific chips and I have, repatedly, stated that I did and do not discuss chips but noise margin. I have, twice, suggested the following and wish Richard could agree to it since he can have his apples if I can have my oranges. OK a proposal I agree that many chips use 0 and +3 as input thresholds. YOU agree that +3 and -3 will give a better noise margin. That should settle it, you get your chips (apples), I get my science (oranges). Erik |
