XC2S200E requires 1,442,016 configuration bit. The weird thing is it doesn't matter the design covers 99% of the resource or just a single NAND gate, the configuration sizes are the same. Depends on applications CPLD is another choice. CPLD doesn't need external config. Another choice is Lattice non-volatile FPGA |
