What others can you recommend that describe this prefetch engine's operation?

not a "litterary masterpiece" but after reading chapter 16 a few times, it should dawn on you.
At the SILabs forum http://www.cygnal.org/scripts/U...tion=intro there are a few "masters of the cache" I am not a member of that group, although I have made a "full speed ISR" by playing with the cache.
