#141401 - Loading a hex file.
Hi. Last year I built an 8032 board to play with because I had finished a course early and I really wanted one of my own. My instructor put a monitor program in it for me. I had it working really well and then school happened when i moved to the university and the laptop I was using to communicate with it bit the dust. I've been away from it for a year and so I'm trying hard to remember everything. I've gotten example programs to compile finally but my big problem is loading them. The monitor will ask you for the location of the file you want loaded and it worked really good when I was on the other laptop but now I'm on a laptop that doesn't have a floppy a: drive and it just sits there and I don't know if it's even looking for it now. I have all of them saved on the c: drive now but I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. I really appreciate your willingness to help in any way you can.
