#150535 - Use Solder Wick as Braid Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Shankir:
You are going to need significantly better ground bussing on your board. There are two things you can do that can adapt to your current board. 1) Get some solid 14 or 16 AWG wire and form it in around components on the top side to form heavy GND busses between the necessary points. Wire through the holes on to the other side with smaller wire looped over the large wire to get contact to the main components with GND pins. 2) On the bottom side get your self some 0.150 inch or similar solder wick braid and lay it down on the board to be used as bus bars for improved GND distribution. This can wire to key points and then be tacked to the solder pads at certain intervals. Do not hesitate to create a gridding of ground layout on the two sides of the board using a combination of the two suggestions. Michael Karas |
