#79174 - RE: IOT: France to allow cell phone jammers Responding to: ???'s previous message |
As a follow up, how's this to make this thread On-topic. According to the AP there is, or will be, a requirememnt that cell phones can be jammed, as long as emergency calls can still get through. Killing the cell phones is easy. A wire mesh faraday cage will stop the signals' ingress and egress quite efficiently. But this would not discriminate to the benefit of emergency calls. So how could one use and 8052 derivative to block only non-emergency traffic, and to do so only within the confines of a single room and/or building (which is to say without interfering with calls outside the room/building)?
P.S. IOT stands for Informational Off Topic. |
