#79572 - Even weirder... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The Israelis have a developed a device that jams cell phones. See this story:
http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH...index.html Even more strange is that the story for Israeli cell-phone jamming has a dateline of Monterrey, Mexico which is where I live (quite a long way from Israel!). Then I read the entire article and it turns out that four churches here in Monterrey are using this device to block cell calls during the services. CNN then includes a picture of the inside of one of the churches where the device is used. That church is about 3 miles from where I live and we used to go to that church every Sunday! Strange seeing our church on cnn.com! Also interesting to see the device costs $2000 yet that church has enough money to buy one. I'll hope the device was donated and didn't come out of the church's budget. Regards, Craig Steiner |
