As someone that works with "downtown GPS" let me state that although lat and lon may not be right they are repeateable. So it, indeed possible, you just need to map the location live


I missed your meaning... My understanding is that GPS is line of sight or at least line of "bounce." I get absolutely no GPS signal when I'm inside my house much less inside a shopping mall.

Or am I missing something?
