#79211 - Legislating good manners Responding to: ???'s previous message |
It seems to me this is a useless law. You simply cannot legislate good manners.
Instead they should make it a legal responsibility of all movie-goers to throw catsup-laden hot dogs at anyone using a cell phone in a movie theater and give restauraunts the option of doubling the bill of anyone that uses their cell phone in the dining area and use that extra money to reduce the check of those sitting at surrounding tables. Then when you see someone whipping out their cell phone at the table next to you instead of saying "Go ahead, make my day" you can say "Go ahead, pay for my dinner!" This also has to be one of the most off-topics off-topics I've seen in a long time. :) Regards, Craig Steiner |
