#79240 - RE: IOT: France to allow cell phone jammers Responding to: ???'s previous message |
How about for an implementation strategy that one try to make a cell phone that used a separate frequency channel for emergency calls. This outgoing only channel could be a "send only" connection that sent a coded set of information to an emergency service. Those people in need of emergency support could purchase these special phones. The rest of the cinema/concert hall patrons with "standard" phones would simply give up service to the jammers and 2GHz range screening.
For the restaurant application with the $15/minute phone service...could that not work on the premise of a localized "mini-cellphone tower" in the building area where all calls were relayed through the "tower". Michael Karas |
