#88325 - Idiot proof
Responding to: ???'s previous message
A quote "when you invent something that prevent acces by idiots, someone will invent a better idiot" (source unknown).

You can put 221 "Jez labels" on the machine and, when something blows up, you get either "I did not touch the connector" ot "when a connector is there I should be allowed to connect to it.

The one connector location that seems to be fairly safe is on the PCB.

True things I have seen:
Someone trying to insert a DB-9 upside down, when not succeful took a pair of pliers and flared the shell the other way.
(many years ago) A machinist that, upon receiving a new TV tightened all "screws" including trimpots and ferrites in coils.

So, Per, if you include the connector things WILL happen, you can only hope to minimize how often.

Hilsen fra den anden side dammen,

Erik
