I don't understand "pulse position", is it like the zero crossing for X-10?
Then it is simplier using something like x-10 with a carrier for 1 and a 0 without carrier. But again, i'm plannin to use a 8051 and the Boss wants the circuit the cheapest possible so in the sender may be a 8051, but in the receiver perhaps it is too expensive (not my words) "You can't go pumping too many volts down the line as this will distort the mains waveform " - i have in my hands a mini-controller x-10 from radioshack and it mounts a 18Vp @120kHz signal, so a 18Vp can be mounted. In fact X-10 says a 1 is a minimun 4Vp and maximum 20Vp |
