#99279 - cable Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Problems with ISP-UART (usually related to AT89Sxxxx devices) have been discussed many times here - try searching the Forum. A couple of weeks ago, Charles Bannister initiated a discussion on how to make this kind of "cables" properly. The most common problem with this type of "cables" is signal distortion on long cables, and crosstalk between adjacent wires in cable (mainly producing "false clocks"). If this is the case, shorten the cable (to say 15cm on each side of "circuit") and if you are using flat cable, arrange it so that there is a GND line between each signal line. Jan Waclawek |
