Maybe some of the hints given here will help you to program your controllers properly, but if you want to LEARN WHY some of the modifications (maybe) helped, you should get an oscilloscope - or at least borrow one.You will make god use of it in the future, too. It can be the analog-service-type (10-20MHz), for this purpose it's maybe even better than any digital.
