I have read the manual, but not going into the multisource thing right now. (sorry to offend)

The sdcc_reg420.h came from this Dallas appnote (which is an appnote on using SDCC with DS89C420 chips). http://www.maxim-ic.com/appnotes.cfm/appnote_number/3477

I've tried to set PMR in the _sdcc_external_startup, it did not change the results any.

And yes the only issue I'm having is the xdata access.
