how come that there is no reaction to the two posts above, you are asking us to help you but am not willing to do your part and follow requests posted

I have used my another LCD but it is 16x4 but its not working
OK, down to brass tacks and babysteps
1) provide a link to the datasheet for the display you are using
2) show your schematic (a noobs guide will tell you how)
3) show (a link to) the flowcahart for the display and comment your code as to flowcharat step the code executes.
example:

mov acc,#47
call PutToDisplay
;; flow....

and the code provided by a user which is said to be tested was not working
does that surprise you? 'tested' isthe most abused word in this forum. I am still looking for the honest poster that states "seems to work in my particular case"
