Your best bet is to use higher resistor values. Using too low of values will cause too much current to enter the chip, or it won't allow certain devices connected to the pulled down pin to control it, because the resistor is sucking up the current.
To calculate, take voltage and divide it by resistance. Then you get your current. Now look at the data sheet to see their recommendations. Do not go past their absolute maximum values or you could blow the chip. |
