Unfortunately, I was a bit lazy when I wrote this so it could do with a little work to make it more generic. However, the concept is valid and can be proven.

Why should you "do with a little work to make it more generic"
that would a) make the responder, not the requester work more and b) what will the requester learn from "ready made code"?.

If the requester is not willing to do any work, then he should be charged a consultant fee, if he is willing to work, this forum is his free helpmate.
