Programming PICs in assembler is best avoided.
Which you often can not get by with. Often a PIG derivative is chosen for price reasons and thus so resource starved that only assembler will do. Of course, if playing in the mud is all you do, the extra $1 for more resources is not a problem and you can use C. BTW I have only heard praise for the HiTech PIG compiler, it does produce quite compact code. Erik |
