This is the trouble with the built-in hardware - you cannot modify it afterwards. Some of the "requirements" can be thought on at the time of design, but if it is not there, it cannot be made (other than by cheating in SW, which is not what you want). This is what won't happen with the true-ICE, provided that all thinkable internal resources are connected to an infinitelly flexible evaluation module... :-) --- But the final point is different: the OP asked, what is more important, debugging or optimisation. My answer (worth < 0.02SKK, practically zero) is, both are important, just get them right. JW |
