Thanks for all the responses. I ordered a f12x from SiLabs. My choice was between this and uPSD3200 from STM. uPSD3200 certainly has more value for money but looked like a bit difficult to learn and get all the parts working (by looking at their forum).
My original question spawned a discussion about the use of an ICE for a beginner. I chose a board that has one. I have been working on a DSP and did some emulation work using single stepping, breakpoints etc. I think I can relate that experience to my new board. Thanks again! -Rajendra. |
