Erik, we use CE etc just to annoy you! Well, not really, it's just that the world conspires to annoy you it seems. In this instance we're just talking about simple connections - explicitly indicating the logic inversion is neither here nor there - given the information we know what is meant. Obviously, once we start introducing extra logic with gating etc, then the logic levels become important to state explicitly.


I see nothing wrong with nanding A14 & 15 to give the *CE (does the * instead of ! annoy you Erik?? There's also the use of /!) as the bus cycle is qualified by /RD & /WR.


Erik, can I introduce you to the concept of 'adding value'? By this I mean unless you can address the question, simply do not respond. This can be hard to do and I have to keep reminding myself of this when I'm at the office. Some days I'm more successful at this than others. I'm sure the younger engineers at my office think I'm a right bastid at times. Sometimes, things are best left alone.

Can you try to only respond when you can 'value add' for a week? Otherwise I'll have to respond with my virtual cattle-prod to deliver a 'bzzzzzzz'.
