#120832 - Not so sure... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Kai,
I don't think the language that seems unfriendly is regarding attempts to help solve his problem, rather, i think it was the sheer volume of editorial not in fact in the critical path to helping solve his problem. Rishab in fact supplied an interesting piece of information, his XBY basic interface worked, his attempt to reducing this to assembler did not. If all the posts regarding; how unsuited the part was and how a person declared a newbie should approach the altar of the 8052 forum, were not included in the above thread it would be quite short. Perhaps if someone does not have long experience, they might betray this condition in their approach to asking for help. It's been mentioned before, if you are offended by a post then skip it, no need to pontificate. Now i don't mean you shouldn't ask for additional information, had the XBY information been part of the original post, the thread may have migrate another way, perhaps an interesting way. I know everyone in the above thread "means well", and i8155 is old enough that questions regarding "what is it" are certainly valid. regards, p |
