there are headers with pins like those on ICs available, to be snapped-on to standard flat cable - these are used e.g. on emulators.

Also, you can have standalone pins (I can try to send you a few if you want) - caveat, they need a 1 mm thick PCB material (rather than the more standard 1.6 mm) - see an example here.
