OTOH, what they call User Manual and without reading which you cannot write a single line IS a 300-page-ish document, citing much of the datasheet and often missing some of the essential information... No, I wouldn't use them as a positive example.
Apparently, the peripherals description form a substantial part of datasheets, and come in 'versions'. An overview of the various versions, pointing out the differences betweenn them an the 'standard' plus a mention of existence of such document in the datasheet, wouldn't that be nice... I've seen such document on U(S)ARTs in AVRs (no mention in the datasheets, though). JW |
