Sadly, neither one will support the 0.025" square pins common in connectors of the type that Mike mentioned. The theoretical diagonal of a 0.025" square is easily calculated, and that's about 0.35", to which we add about 0.005 for clearance and solder, and that makes the hole size about 0.041". How the connector is to be physically attached, since a hand-drilled hole will have no solderable pads, well, that's not in the equation yet. The popular "super-glue" might serve.
0.80 mm will be entirely too small. RE |
