Even with CE products the failure rate in industrial environment is rather high. What do you think will your customer do when your product doesn't work properly and he loses a lot of money
the real point is that if your $200 thingy does nor work, the customer does not lose $200, NO, in some cases he loses ten thousands of dollars because his machine stand still. My brother in law manages service for industrial machines (CNC etc) and has a customer that loses $47 thousand per hour a given machine stand still.
