#151938 - A good way to survive Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Let´s face it- the 8051 hardware is beginning to loose
influence. Reason for this is the "new" generation- they don´t start with restrictions like small memory, EPROM burner and home brew debugger. They are used to a full blown IDE, compiler and plenty of resources. The clever competition hands out the systems and even the compilers for free. Free samples and bonus programs for educational institutes are also common habit. A concentration of 8051 knowledge- may it be from a commercial or private organisation would help, to keep zhe 8051 philosophy alive. A lot of knowledge begins to fade away- namely the small and independant web pages. So 8052.com should not only open to the big guys but also to the small ones. Hope, "8052.com still going strong" wolf |
